I’ve grown up with a mom that has pretty much instilled this in me from a very young age. Some believe, just because something is more expensive like a Louis Vuitton handbag or Lululemon activewear, they think that these items are indestructible… can it be true?
Of course you need to factor in the variables, for instance if you take better care of your things of course they’ll last longer than a favourite item that maybe gets warn on the daily. It’s always important to take good care of your things, expensive or not.
Do you find, when a pair of leggings start pilling or a thread in your favourite handbag comes loose, we blame ourselves? Shouldn’t these overly expensive items be bullet proof (or a least life proof)? I think what it all comes down to is that, just like anything in life, the more you take care of something (bags or relationships) the longer it’ll last.
